The stand-in coach of Juventus, Massimo Carrera, has said that Nicklas Bendtner could get a chance to feature for Juventus in the Series A match against Chievo Verona which is going to be played on 22nd of September at Juventus Arena. Bendtner is a contracted player of Arsenal, but, he has been placed on loan to Juventus this summer. The Danish striker signed the loan deal on the last day of the pre season transfer window and hasn’t yet played any match for Juventus.
As per Carrera, Bendtner has been playing some good shots in the training sessions and he seemed to have settled into his groove pretty well. He might not get included in the starting line up, but, there is a good possibility of him coming to play as a substitute against Chievo. None of the players of the team is injured and everyone is available for selection. So, the team will go into the match with its best starting XI.
Carrera looked delighted with the performance of his team in the Champions League match against Chelsea which was played at Stamford Bridge two days back. The performance of the Juventus team was quite impressive in that match. Everyone was expecting Chelsea to thrash Juventus on its home ground. But, that wasn’t the case to be. The Juventus boys played with fantastic temperament and didn’t let Chelsea gather all the three points. Both the teams found the net twice in the match and the match ended in a draw. Arturo Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella were the ones who scored the goals for Juventus.
As per Carrera, it was wonderful to see the boys not giving up and fighting hard. It was not easy to play in front of the huge crowd that was right behind Chelsea. Hopefully, the boys would show the same kind of body language against Chievo as well.
