The 29 year old attacker Nicklas Bendtner signed a deal with deal with the Norwegian club Rosenborg which extends until December of 2019.
Nottingham Forest was Bendtner’s latest club before he opted to initiate his career in Norway and in 15 appearances, the Danish attacker could only find the back of the net on 2 occasions.
In spite of how much he has failed in the goal-scoring department, Rosenborg still opted to secure his services and Bendtner is performing significantly better than years before.
The head coach of Rosenborg, Kåre Ingebrigtsen has recently talked about Nicklas Bendtner and the 51 year old head coach said:
"We are really happy with Nicklas, he's come into the group and he's been really good for us. He's a fantastic guy and with his experience, he's an important player for us at this stage. Always when you come into the group you need time, we have seen that he's become better and better the last few weeks and hopefully he continues to improve and be a really important player for us."
In the playing career of Nicklas Bendtner, he has tested his luck with various clubs and largely failed to make any of his seasons memorable.
It was with Arsenal where the Danish got his name out to the world as he got a chance to perform in one of the top tier leagues in the world, in the English Premier League but after 7 seasons of disappointment where he could only score 24 league goals for Arsenal in over 100 appearances, his journey throughout various European clubs started but his struggles continued as he failed to live up to what was expected.
However, maybe in Rosenborg, Bendtner can go through a successful season and actually score goals on a consistent basis.
