Norwegian outfit Rosenborg recently signed former Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner for around €1 million from Nottingham Forest.
The 29-year-old may have been disappointed with the way his career has progressed, but he will be extremely happy with a club where he can play regular first-team football. In the past, his attitude has been seen as a big problem.
While some have criticised Bendtner for being arrogant and overconfident, Rosenborg teammates claim that the striker has been a breath of fresh air at the club. He has featured in three league matches for the club and has already made a major impact by scoring two goals. Over the years,Bendtner has played for different clubs in different leagues like the Premier League, Championship, Bundesliga, and Italian Serie A. However, he will be hoping that he has finally found a home in Norway.
"He has slipped right into the group. He is easy to include. As a football player, he is a physical monster. I think he will be hard to deal with at the far post.He is a sociable and humorous guy. He has taken to both the weather and the area in an excellent way," said Rosenborg forward Pal André Helland. His current contract with the club runs until 2019, but he may very well extend his stay at the club if he manages to continue on the same vein of form.
