NicklasBendtner played for Italian Serie A giants Juventus while he was an Arsenal player. He was sent on loan to Juventus by the Gunners at the start of the 2012/13 campaign. NicklasBendtner was on his third loan spell to Juventus from Arsenal after the Birmingham City and Sunderland loan spells.
He signed for the Old Lady on the final day of the August 2012 transfer window. His first Juventus game came off the bench in the Italian Serie A. The Denmark international player came on as a substitute for Italian striker Fabio Quaglirella in a 2-0 win over Chievo Verona on September 22, 2012.
NicklasBendtner had to wait for over a month for his first start in the colours of the Italian Serie A giants. His first start came against Catania in October 2012 in the league. The next start for him was in the Coppa Italia clash with Cagliari in December 2012. The then Arsenal loanee picked up an injury during the game against Cagliari and was subsequently ruled out of action for several weeks.
Bendtner picked up a thigh injury during that Cagliari game in the Coppa Italia in December 2012 and he went on to miss two months of football. He had to undergo surgery to solve the thigh problem.
NicklasBendtner was arrested for drink driving during his time out with injury. The Danish player didn't return to the Juventus team until the final day of the season when the league title had already been won. He played the final 16 minutes in the 3-2 loss to hosts Sampdoria.
Bendtner played a total of 11 games in all competitions for the Old Lady with nine of those games coming in the league. He didn't manage to score in two league starts and seven substitute appearances for Juventus.
It didn't surprise many that Juventus failed to take up the option of signing the striker permanently from the Gunners.
