It has been a significant amount of time since Nicklas Bendtner has played an important role for Arsenal as he only made 1 appearance for the club during the 2011-12 season and later was loaned out to Juventus where things did not get a huge improvement as he was only featured in 9 league matches for the Italian club.
Now that he is back at the Emirates Stadium with Arsenal, he still has not managed to establish himself as a fundamentally vital player for the Premier League club and things have recently gotten even worse for the Danish player as he was involved with a drunken incident in Copenhagen.
It seems like Bendtner travelled to Copenhagen without the permission or giving the heads up to anyone in the club and the 26 years old player is believed to have threatened a taxi driver as well as unbuttoning his trousers and rubbing it against the car during the altercation.
Arsene Wenger had a few things to say about the recent actions of Bendtner as he spoke at a press conference.
"Honestly I don't know really what happened because I haven't spoken to him. The only thing that is for sure is he had nothing to do in Copenhagen. Nobody gave him any permission to go to Copenhagen and he will be fined for that,"
"For the rest, he has created some trouble there I don't know, I will speak to him today. He is at the end of his contract at the end of the season." Wenger said.
From the looks of it, Bendtner will not be remaining with Arsenal when the season ends and reports are already starting to emerge claiming that the Danish player wants to have a pay raise when he leaves Arsenal and joins his new club.
