Ex-Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he had a confrontation with club legend Thierry Henry as a teenager. NicklasBendtner talked about his confrontation with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry while he was speaking with Steve Crossman of BBC Sport in a recent interview.

NicklasBendtner narrated how he had a confrontation with the great Thierry Henry in his book titled ‘Both Sides'. The Danish player detailed his experience as a professional football player in Both Sides. NicklasBendtner joined Arsenal at the age of 16 while he was one of the best football prospects on the European football scene and he was quickly promoted to train with the first team. He joined the Gunners from Copenhagen Boldklub in his native Denmark.

As a matter of fact, NicklasBendtner signed his first professional contract at Arsenal in 2005 and went on to make his debut later that year. His first game for the Gunners against Sunderland in the League Cup.
On his altercation with Arsenal legend Henry, Bendtner said that he had a confrontation with the Frenchman after he called him out for taking three touches during a two-touch game in training. Bendtner was told to shut up with a lot of swear words and this led to a shouting match between the two players. Lord Bendtner as he's fondly called also disclosed how Thierry Henry had a two-hour heart-to-heart discussion with him after their shouting match. In hindsight,NicklasBendtner felt he should have kept quiet. His punishment was not training with the Arsenal first team for three months.
Bendtner, 32,spent nine years at Arsenal between 2005 and 2014. He scored 45 goals in 171 appearances for the Premier League giants. The Danish international striker has also played for clubs like Italian Serie A club Juventus, Birmingham City, Sunderland, Rosenborg and Nottingham Forest.
